Only 7 new Covid cases logged in Oro over the weekend

THE number of new coronavirus infections in Cagayan de Oro has dropped to a single digit, with only seven additional cases reported over the weekend.

The city now has a total of 26,948 Covid-19 cases.

According to data from the City Health Office, of the seven new Covid cases, three were local index cases, two were authorized persons outside residence (Apors), one was a returning overseas Filipino (ROF) and one death.

The active cases in Cagayan de Oro are now at 60, of which 22 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 37 were outpatients, and one was an ROF.

Over the weekend, the city recorded three recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 25,934.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 954.
