Recovery rate in Cagayan de Oro down at 89.29%

THE recovery rate of Cagayan de Oro has gone down to 89.29 percent after the city recorded only nine Covid-19 recoveries, bringing the total number of those who have recovered from the disease to 3,903.

Of the 3,903 recoveries, 304 were locally stranded individuals (LSIs), 121 were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), and 3,478 were local cases (community: 2,951; Apors: 527).

As of 10 p.m. of April 13, 32 residents of the city have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, all of which were local transmissions.

This brought the total number of confirmed cases in Cagayan de Oro to 4,371.

Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said of the 32 new local cases, one is a person deprived of liberty (PDL), 22 are local cases with link, and nine are local index cases.

Of the 4,371 total Covid-19 cases in the city, 434 were under the ROFs/LSIs category and 3,937 cases were local transmissions.

Cagayan de Oro has recorded 265 active cases, 67 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 191 were outpatients, and seven were ROFs/LSIs.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is at 203.
