Tournament sponsor Ronald `El Kap’ Banaag said woodpushers from as far as Bukidnon, Iligan, Dipolog and Zamboanga have signified to join for around P20,000 in total cash prizes plus trophies.

The seven round Swiss system tourney with time control of 20 minutes and 3 seconds increment guarantees P6,000, P4,000, P3,000 and P2,000 for the top-four tandem finishers.
