FACIAL and slimming center Skin 911 continued to expand despite the pandemic, with the opening of its 28th branch in Metro Sands, Danao City on Monday, June 28, 2021.

Aside from expanding its branches, Skin 911 also aims to launch in the fourth quarter its “biggest offering” yet in the beauty market.

“Skin911 Medical is a game-changer in the beauty industry in the Philippines and will introduce new services, the first in the country,” said Eleanor Velasco, president and chief executive officer of The Skin 911 Group.

The Danao branch, a franchised store by former overseas Filipino worker Loida Edianel, is the company’s second outlet in northern Cebu and 28th nationwide.

Velasco said the opening of the Danao outlet is an achievement for the company.

“We have encountered challenges and uncertainty, but it motivated us to provide more who want to feel good and better under the new normal,” Velasco said.

Diane Tungol, operations manager of Skin 911, said the company maintains the trust of its clients by following government-mandated protocols.

“We reassure them that their safety is top of mind. We really want to earn their trust by supporting them in their skincare routine,” she said.

Tungol said they chose to open a branch in Danao to make it accessible to their clients coming from the northern part of Cebu.

Among those who attended the opening was Danao City Mayor Ramon Durano III.

The Skin911 Facial and Slimming Centre was founded by Velasco in 2006 in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.

It now has 28 branches nationwide located in Cebu, Tacloban City (Eastern Visayas), Dumaguete City (Negros Oriental), Maasin City (Southern Leyte), Banawe (Quezon City), Naga City (Camarines Sur), Tagum City (Davao del Norte), Lanang (Davao City), Oroquieta City (Misamis Oriental), Koronadal City (South Cotabato), Pagadian City (Zamboanga del Sur), and Tagbilaran City (Bohol).
