THE Navalta siblings in Cebu City who used social media to raise funds for the medical expenses of their parents expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped them.

In an updated post on Nov. 24, 2020, Vanessa Jane Navalta, the eldest of three, thanked everyone who helped them raise funds for her parents' medical expenses.

In her post, she said that her Dad has already been discharged and is currently undergoing cardiac rehab, while her mom's stitches have been removed.

The Navalta siblings went viral on Nov. 19, after they posted online that they are selling a variety of baked goods and safety essentials to pay for their parents' hospital bills.

Their stall is at Salinas Drive, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.

Vanessa said selling goods in their booth will continue for a month as they have remaining hospital bills to pay.

They would also continue to accept orders for their baked goods "Barkatouille" through their Facebook page. (RSR)
