In case you haven't noticed, live-action reboots are a thing now and one in particular that's a current obsession is, of course, the new "The Lion King."

This remake of a classic is not set to show in theaters anytime soon but there's the trailer to get one started.

The world just can't seem to get enough of this teaser as, according to Entertainment Weekly, the trailer garnered 224.6 million views in one day in just 24 hours of its release.

This makes it the second most viewed trailer in history with only the "Avengers: Infinity War" trailer ahead of the list, which got 238 million views in the first 24 hours.

Can we say chills?

[Spoiler alert: Proceed with caution]

Granted it is one of the most anticipated movies, but fans of the film can't seem to handle the idea of reliving the death of King Mufasa, this time in hi-definition ("Long live the king!") judging by the online posts and memes.

Still, it's a movie people don't want to miss. (MRL)
