Gigs are back: ‘AMUMA’ gathers local artists for a cause

Sunnexdesk

ON Sept. 24 at 6 p.m., 22 Tango Records is bringing its homegrown artists together for some live music that you can enjoy from the comforts of your home.

AMUMA Live! is a Facebook event that features Wonggoys, LOURDES, Mary Anchit, Vincent Eco, Alice Who, Bethany and Jericho Streegan, the newest addition to the record label’s roster.

As a celebration of homegrown music, this live event is also an effort to drive forward 22 Tango Records’ campaign, AMUMA: Homegrown Music Emergency Fund. It is an initiative to build financial resources through crowdfunding and patronage. Its main objectives are to provide artists and production staff with financial assistance and allowances respectively so they can continue working on their music projects and endeavors.

There are three ways to help #GrowCebuMusic: through GoGetFunding, which is only until Sept. 30 (https://gogetfunding.com/amuma-homegrown-emergency-fund/); through Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/22tango); or through GCash or bank transfer (https://22tangorecords.com/donate/).

Mark your calendars for AMUMA Live! happening on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.

Follow 22 Tango Records on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for updates. (PR)
