IN what has become a yearly Christmas tradition, Globe Telecom has partnered with Philippine Airlines (PAL) to make the homecoming and family reunions of returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) even more memorable with special gifts at Globe Balikbayan: A Wonderful Christmas Reunion. Surprise gift packs and a special Christmas choir greeted travelers at the Manila, Cebu and Davao international airports. More than 1,400 passengers arriving from Dubai, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi were serenaded with classic holiday songs and given Noche Buena gift packs containing local goodies they might have missed. They also received free Globe Traveler SIM cards so they could immediately get in touch with their loved ones.

“For our kababayans who work and live abroad, Christmas is the perfect time to come home and reunite with loved ones. With the various holiday traditions, there’s nothing like spending Christmas with the family in the Philippines,” shared Bernard Llamzon, executive vice president and head of Globe Channel Management Group.
