‘Idol sa Kusina: Lutong Bahay’ kicks off Oct. 18

BEGINNING Oct. 18, everyone’s favorite cooking show “Idol sa Kusina” airs fresh episodes again on GMA News TV.

Join hosts Chef Boy Logro and Chynna Ortaleza as they serve new recipes straight from their homes, as well as from the houses of various Kapuso stars and celebrity chefs in “Idol sa Kusina: Lutong Bahay.”

With the new normal in mind, “Idol sa Kusina” dishes out easy-to-do recipes using ingredients that are not difficult to source. At the same time, Chef Boy and Chynna give viewers tips on how to add twists on well-known recipes that families can enjoy.

Together with their featured Kapuso artists and celebrity chefs, “Idol sa Kusina” shares tips and tricks to help everyone become his own family’s “idol sa kusina.” Every Sunday night, catch the latest food trends making rounds on social media as well.

On Oct. 18, Chef Boy brings in his “idol moves” with tips on how to properly blanch your veggies for an appetizing dish. Chynna puts these tips in practice as she prepares her Broccoli with Sesame Noodles recipe.

Meanwhile, comedian Aiai delas Alas dishes out her Trending sa Sarap combo by serving her personal Cheese Bread recipe paired with a batch of Creamy Carbonara.

Celebrity chef Jose Sarasola takes on Chef’s Challenge and shares how to serve your next dish in style by showing viewers how to make some Cheesy Chicken ala King in Bread Bowl.
