DESPITE the many rains and floods, Cebu still sizzled with varied events. We celebrated the National Day of Belgium with Ambassador Michel Goffin and Honorary Consul Enrison Benedicto, with special guests led by Cebu Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale and the business and diplomatic circles. Ambassador Goffin lauded the longtime partnership of Belgium and the Philippines, Cebu particularly, and looked forward to stronger economic and cultural linkages.
