The iconic pageant had gone through a six-year hiatus, and typhoon Odette had caused a temporary halt to the holding of its Coronation Night traditionally during the week of the Sinulog festival in January.

Finally, organizers announced that the Miss Cebu 2022 Coronation Night will be held on March 16, Wednesday, 6 p.m. at Plaza Independencia.

In line with health and safety protocols, the event will strictly be by-invitation only. However, fans and supporters alike can catch the broadcast of the coronation night on Channel 5, Cignal TV and via the Miss Cebu Facebook page livestream.

The Miss Cebu candidates are Bianca Wilhelmina Willemsen, Christine Isabelle Rudolph, Karla Marie Frances Niere, Dannika Anne Ocampo, Cianza Pearl Lorenzo Gutierres, Christine Marie Aberion, Sheena Durano, Ciairha Jenyne Monsanto, Gabriella Mai Carballo, Trixie Ong, Rhean Emmanuelle Caruana and Lorraine Hann.
