The newest mall in town is the AyalaMalls Central Bloc at Cebu IT Park developed by Cebu Holdings Inc. This second Ayala Mall in Cebu features five levels of retail development, four digital cinemas, one indoor activity center, dining outlets, a fashion gallery called Trading Bloc, a modern chapel and a three-level basement parking.

Very much part of the expansive mall is Seda Central Bloc Cebu, a 17-storey, 214-room hotel (with 58 serviced apartments) which can be accessed from the fifth floor of the mall. Over in Gaas, Balamban, the new go-to place is EVO Nature Camp, an adventure-based camp with nature-centered recreational activities. The picturesque place is only 32 kilometers away from the city and owner Edwin Ortiz said that he envisions the place as a summer camp for students as well as a place for people to commune with nature.
