Chinggay V. Utzurrum

Jose Soberano III, chairman and chief executive officer of Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI), has announced that the company’s latest masterpiece, Masters Tower-Cebu, is a towering, crown-like structure to represent the “Queen City of the South.”

Indeed, it will have a structural height of 172 meters, with an architectural design inspired by Cebuano creativity and craftsmanship, and with sustainability as one of its cornerstones.

Groundbreaking for the LEED-registered Tower will be in the second quarter of 2021. Completion will be in 2025.

The Tower’s office spaces from the eighth to the 12th floors anticipate the needs of locators who value efficiency and sustainability. Horizontal louvers will reduce heat by 70 percent.

In addition, Sky Gardens on every floor will enhance the fresh, green feel of nature’s bounty.

The sunlit Sofitel Hotel on the 16th floor will feature a Sky Lobby to maximize natural lighting. Sustainability will be further reflected on the 14th to 32nd floors which will house the 195 guest rooms, a ballroom, meeting rooms, swimming pool etc.

Soberano concluded that Masters Tower-Cebu is part of CLI’s growing hotel portfolio in partnership with foreign chains.

Keep on improving Cebu’s magnificent skyline, CLI!
