ADRIAN del Mar and Jessica Salazar came home to get married. Now based in New York, they decided to share their big day with family and friends in Cebu. And so with the blessings of their respective parents, Marlon and Mary Ann del Mar, and Simeon and Barbara (Barba) Salazar, they said their vows during afternoon rites at the Oakridge Pavilion. Very much part of the celebration were Adrian’s second parents, Adolfo and Gina (del Mar) Ravanes, the uncle and aunt who he grew up with.

A formal dinner reception followed at the same venue.

It was a Sunday wedding for Karl Antonius de Pio and doctor Angela Ivy Dy at the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish Church. They were united in the sacrament of matrimony by Msgr. Roberto Alesna in the presence of their parents, Gino Salvador (Karl’s Mom Carmel must have been looking down from Heaven), and engineer Manuel Lua Dy and doctor Jean Rafanan Dy.

The wedding reception was held at the Grand Convention Center.
