Zonta Club of Cebu 2 creates a major stir anywhere it goes!

Recently, the members graced the District 17 area 3 meeting in Cagayan de Oro (CDO), hosted by Zonta-CDO under the able leadership of area 3 director Dr. Josephine Go. Lending her prestigious presence was District 17 governor, Manila-based Dr. Primitiva “Baby” Sison.

Venue of the meeting was Pearlmont Hotel, where Zontians from 11 clubs from the Vismin area sashayed in floral splendor, theme of the opening night soiree.

Being the biggest delegation, with 28 glam ladies, resplendent in their glam wigs, and floral get-ups, the Cebu 2 Zontians’ well-applauded Calypso number was nothing short of spectacular!

Why, even their choreographer was flown in from Cebu!

The Zontians were comfortably billeted at the Ayala-owned and -managed Seda Centrio Hotel, located along the city’s heartbeat, beside the Centrio Mall, where everything’s at!

Hospitality-wise, the CDO Zontians are hard to beat. We were hosted on our last day by CDO Zontian Rose Paras, and hubby Engr. Elpidio, at their newly opened sprawling, awesome Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort, spanning 18 hectares, five of which have been developed.

The Pirate-themed park, located near the airport, presently features 14 water rides, and still counting.

Thank you, CDO Zontians! We’ll be back for more!
