THE Borbon Municipal Health Unit (MHU) is temporarily closed while vaccination schedules are temporarily suspended from September 22 to 28, after four health personnel tested positive for Covid-19.

Mayor Noel Dotillos told SunStar Cebu that two doctors, one nurse, and one staff member of MHU tested positive for the virus. One of the doctors is the municipal health officer, who is also the wife of the mayor.

Dotillos said that the three personnel tested positive for the virus first through the rapid anti-gen test after experiencing colds and cough. His wife was found positive for Covid-19 on Sept. 22 after experiencing the same symptoms on Wednesday, September 22.

Dotillos said that all personnel who tested positive were fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Infected workers are under a 10 to 14 day quarantine and are now asymptomatic as of this time, Dotillos added. (MVE)
