44 arrested in Consolacion police operations

THE Consolacion Police Station arrested 44 individuals for various violations and crimes during its “synchronized anti-criminality and law enforcement operations” (SACLEO) on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Eleven of them were arrested for illegal gambling, two for illegal drugs (shabu) with an estimated value of P27,200, and one for illegal possession of firearms. One individual surrendered a firearm through Oplan Katok.

A total of 30 individuals were arrested for traffic violations and violations of other local ordinances.

“The relentless operations against all forms of crimes will send a strong message to the public that the Consolacion Police will not allow any form of threats to this town and its people,” said the Consolacion Police Station in a statement.

Police Lt. Col. Fortunate Ty Ecle Jr., Consolacion's acting police chief, expressed his gratitude for the support of the local government unit, Municipal Mayor Joannes Pepito Alegado, and to the community in law enforcement. (NRC)
