Abandoned boy’s parents sought

THE Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 7 is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of an abandoned child named Christian McNiño Balucos.

Balucos was born on Dec. 27, 2019, at the Isidro C. Kintanar Memorial Hospital in Barangay Bogo, Argao, southern Cebu.

The boy was entrusted by his mother Nancy Balucos to Merlyn Ortega on Dec. 31,2019, around 9 a.m., but Nancy failed to return.

Failure of the parents and relatives to appear or claim the child within the period of one month will subject the child for filing administrative abandonment in the DSWD central office.

They may see social worker Vilma Cosido at the RSCC office on Katipunan St. in Barangay Labangon, Cebu City. The can call the office’s landline 414-0243.
