A FIRE hit a portion of a building past 7 p.m. Monday, September 17, in Barangay South Poblacion, City of Naga, Cebu.

The blaze did not affect the whole building of Asian Grains Corporation after firefighters responded quickly.

The flames were confined on the building's fourth floor of the milling building.

Initial investigation showed that the fire originated from a machine. The extreme heat from the machine reportedly caused its dust filter to ignite thus starting the fire.

No one was injured during the fire incident, which reportedly damaged P800,000 worth of properties.

Last July 15, the same company also caught fire that was elevated to a general alarm. (KAL)
