GLOBE Media Excellence Awards 2020 winner, Cherry Ann T. Lim, has agreed to be a reactor in the Zonta Club of Cebu 1 webinar on Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (Osec) at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020.

Lim, SunStar Cebu managing editor, wrote a two-part special report exposing Philippine cybersex issues as follows:

Part 2: Covid-19 lockdown creates ‘perfect storm’ for sexual abuse of children online

For this two-part series, Lim won the award for Explanatory/Investigative Story of the Year for Print for Visayas. The award was given last Nov. 26.

The webinar is part of Zonta Club of Cebu 1 ‘s 18-Days of Activism campaign to eliminate violence against women and children.
