BOXER Albert Pagara was released from Pardo Police Station after posting a P100,000 bail Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Police Major Angelo Acupinpin, chief of the Pardo Police Station, said a P200,000 bail was recommended by the court for Pagara’s release in relation to the rape complaint filed against him, but the boxer’s lawyer was able to pass a motion to lower the amount.

The court granted the motion, said Acupinpin.

Pagara was arrested on September 1 for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl, his neighbor in Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City.

At the police station, Pagara denied doing anything wrong, but he later admitted he only touched the girl. (AYB)
