A TOTAL of 43 symptomatic patients with coronavirus disease (Covid-19), who have now recovered, were discharged from the Cebu City Quarantine Center (CCQC) Friday, July 3, 2020.

Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) Administrator Yvonne Feliciano said the patients who were infected with Covid-19 spent more than two weeks at the quarantine center since they are symptomatic.

Feliciano said the patients underwent “rigid treatment protocol” which includes medical, pharmacological and psychosocial interventions.

The 43 Covid-19 survivors brought home 25-kilos of rice provided by the Cebu City Government.

There were already 99 recovered patients discharged from the quarantine center since it started its operation, said Feliciano.

The CCQC was designed to accommodate symptomatic Covid-19 patients. (JJL with PR)
