CEBU City Mayor Edgardo Labella has returned to work days after he was hospitalized for an ear infection.

The mayor, however, is working from home, as he was advised to shy away from people for the meantime.

Last week, Labella filed a leave from work before the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) due to an ear infection.

In an interview with SunStar Cebu on Sunday, January 24, he said his doctor advised him to stay away from people for now, adding that he is only finishing the remaining dosage of antibiotics for his infection.

“I’ll just be in the house, but (I must) continue the treatment and avoid seeing people,” Labella said.

In his Facebook page on January 25, Labella said he is now back to work and is catching up on all the paperworks. (JJL)
