Cebu City Sports Center track oval reopens

THE Cebu City Sports Center's (CCSC's) track oval reopened on Monday, May 3, 2021, a year and one month after being closed from the public because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella visited the CCSC early Monday morning to inspect the facility and instruct Jundel Bontuyan, CCSC manager, to strictly implement health protocols.



The track oval will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays, and 5 a.m. until noon on Sundays to give way for disinfection.



Bontuyan earlier said facilities such as the room for Zumba and belly dancing will follow and that the swimming pool will be opened last for public use. No specific dates for their reopening were disclosed.
