Chong Hua thankful to donors

THE management of Chong Hua Hospital has assured all its donors that all donations, food or personal protective equipment (PPE), are well accounted for.

In a statement released Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Chong Hua Hospital has expressed gratitude to all its benefactors who have expressed deep concern and donated food and PPEs.

"To our beloved benefactors, donors, and supporters, we wholeheartedly appreciate each and everyone's generosity in this time of crisis. Indeed, you have helped sustain us in our battle against Covid-19, and we appreciate your continued trust, support, and prayers," the statement said.

It further stated that all the donated food are kept in a safe room upon receipt, in preparation for an orderly accounting and distribution to the intended Covid-10 healthcare frontliners and staff.

The PPEs, the statement said is life-saving in the day-to-day operations and the three shifts of each day. PPEs are not just being used by the attending frontline healthcare staff but support groups as well, like those involved in cleaning, transport, and security among others.

"The donations have greatly eased the burden of having to provide care of this complexity on both the patients and the hospital," the statement further said. (PR)
