Cold weather, rains continue due to 'Amihan'

Sunnexdesk

THE weather state bureau said that the cold weather and the occasional rains in Cebu are still brought by the Amihan or the northeast monsoon.

Engineer Al Quiblat, Visayas bureau chief of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), said that occasional rains will continue to be felt in the entire Cebu based on its latest forecast.

"Light to moderate and occasional rain based on our weather forecast," Quiblat said.

He added that on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, Visayas will experience better weather conditions compared to the previous days.

Pagasa has expected that the province will continue to feel the effects brought by the northeast monsoon until the end of February or the first week of March. (JCT/JGS)
