DFA to stop online appointments

Sunnexdesk

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will stop its online passport appointment starting July as it shifts to ePayment where applicants can pay for their passports before going to the agency’s offices.

DFA said they want to give more payment options to the public when getting passports.

“This will make the passport application process faster by lessening the amount of time each applicant spends at a Consular Office,” reads the DFA’s advisory.

DFA also wants to reduce the number of no-show applicants.

Once the ePayment launches, DFA said they will again open the slots for online appointments. (HBL of SuperBalita Cebu)
