Drug smuggling in city jail busted

Sunnexdesk

A MAN was caught by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) 7 hiding Nalbuphine ampules inside his body yesterday morning.

The suspect was identified as April Jay Ajoc, 23, of B. Rodriguez St., Barangay Sambag 2.

According to Supt. Renante Rubio, city jail warden, jail officers noticed that Ajoc was acting suspiciously. When they were about to frisk him, Ajoc reportedly inserted something in his bottom, and when they inspected it, they saw the tip of a condom protruding. Police couldn’t pull the condom out because Ajoc reportedly flexed his muscles to keep the item from falling out.

Ajoc was brought to the Guadalupe Police Station where he was asked to relieve himself.

It was then that police police found 20 ampules of Nubain that had been hidden in Ajoc’s private parts.

Rubio said that they have identified the inmate Ajoc was trying to visit.

The inmate will also face the same drug charges that will be filed against Ajoc. (JOB)
