Fire hits Inayawan, damages 10 houses

AT LEAST 10 houses were damaged by the fire that hit Sitio Romblon, Barangay Inayawan in Cebu City Wednesday afternoon, July 7, 2021.

The fire started at the house of one Frankie Abadilla, said Fire Officer 2 Fulbert Navarro. It broke out around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) received the fire alarm at 4:10 p.m. and it was raised to second alarm at 4:33 p.m. The firefighters placed it under control at 4:50 p.m. and fire-out was declared at 5:01 p.m.

Navarro said the blaze has caused P337,500 worth of damage to properties, as eight houses were destroyed, while two others were damaged.
