A GERMAN national was found dead inside his house in Purok Avocado, Barangay Pandacan, Pinamungajan town, midwest Cebu on Monday at 11:30 a.m., August 8, 2022.

John Pryke, 75, was already dead when found by his friend, Jomar Nalzaro Estrella, 31, married, of Barangay Butong, Pinamungajan and plant operator of Global Business Power Corporation, which is based in Toledo City.

Estrella immediately reported the matter to the police.

Major Vincent Zozobrado, chief of Pinamungajan Police Station, ruled out robbery or murder in the foreigner's death as his things inside the house were still intact when the police arrived at the scene.

Pryke was living alone in his house after being separated from his wife.

Result of the post mortem examination conducted by Municipal Rural Health Officer Dr. Melochie Daroy-Pausal showed that the victim died from cardiogenic shock and congestive heart failure. (GPL, TPT)
