AUTISM SOCIETY PHILIPPINES (ASP), through its program Autismworks, is currently helping fill up positions in various functions in the retail, food service and business process outsourcing (BPO) industries for job-ready persons with autism.

In Cebu, ASP will have Autismworks job interviews for persons with autism this Saturday, beginning 9 a.m. at the Kite Strings Developmental Center, on No. 5 Second St., San Antonio Village, Apas-Lahug, Cebu City.

Applicants must meet the following criteria: must be 18 years old and above, with formal autism diagnosis, must be willing to disclose diagnosis to employer, must have undergone job-readiness training or preparation in a school setting and an ASP member (can be completed upon placement).

While ASP will do its best to facilitate inclusion, it does not offer assurances that applicants will be placed. The prospective employers shall determine the availability of the positions and the applicants’ readiness to take on the positions that match their interest, skill and geographic convenience.
