IN A rare public appearance, Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz was spotted talking to some barangay officials at a checkpoint in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City on Thursday, April 30, 2020, amid the enhanced community quarantine imposed in the city.

Guadalupe Barangay Captain Michael Gacasan said the actor asked him what help he and pharmaceutical company, Unilab, can extend to the barangay.

“Nangutana siya unsa’y puwede matabang sa Unilab (he asked what Unilab can help),” said Gacasan.

Cruz is an endorser of the said pharmaceutical company.

Gacasan said help is on the way as assistance in the form of vitamins and medicine will be distributed to children in his barangay once they receive the goods.

Gacasan confirmed the actor has been residing in Barangay Guadalupe. (JJL)
