A TOTAL of 168 qualified low income households in Cebu who are considered as "left outs" received their cash aid under the Social Amelioration Program (Sap), Friday, July 3, 2020.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Central Visayas (DSWD 7) has started the payout for those qualified but were not included in the list of Sap beneficiaries who received cash aid during the first tranche, Friday.

Leah Quintana, DSWD 7 information officer, said included in the first batch of left out payout were from the towns of Consolacion, Compostela, and Oslob.

This is worth P1,008,000.

Quintana said they are scheduled to pay those waitlisted in Liloan on Saturday, July 4.

The agency earlier said that the region has about 237,500 wait-listed left outs.
