Man electrocuted in Danao City

A 23-year-old man died after he was electrocuted Thursday evening, September 6, in Barangay Maslog, Danao City, Cebu.

The fatality was idenified as Patrick Val Quiros, a resident of Maslog.

According to Senior Police Officer 1 (SPO1) Arnold Labini of Danao City Police Station, the victim climbed a jackfruit tree to cut its branches and feed his goats with its leaves.

Quiros later accidentally touched the main line of an electrical post near the tree, then he fell to the ground.

Neighbors and relatives rushed him to Cebu Provincial Hospital in Danao City, where he was declared dead on arrival. (KAL)
