A 42-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by riding-in-tandem assassins at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 20, in Sitio Canlope, Poblacion, Alcoy, Cebu.

Police identified the fatality as Christian Alvarado Debulosan, who succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigation showed the victim was standing outside his house when the culprits arrived.

The back rider alighted and approached Debulosan, according to witnesses.

He then said they were looking for a certain "Christian" in the village. The victim, without asking for the full name of Christian, replied he was the one they were looking for.

The back rider later asked Debulosan to accompany them to a certain Barangay Captain Folding of Nug-as village for a meeting.

Debulosan refused, saying he was tired. The back rider then shot him, hitting him in the head, neck and chest.

The culprits fled after killing Debulosan. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
