Man shot dead in Carcar

A 42-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by an unidentified assailant at 5:10 p.m. Thursday, September 27, in Sitio Tindahan, Barangay Can-asujan, Carcar City, Cebu.

Police identified the fatality as Danilo Tamara Labra, a resident of Sitio Bacsiji, Can-asujan.

Initial investigation showed Labra went to Sitio Pontod, Baranay Valladolid, Carcar, with Boy Cabañog to buy a cow.

Afterwards, they went to a store in Sitio Tindahan and bought beer.

Two men riding in tandem on a motorcycle arrived. The back rider pulled out a gun and shot Labra several times.

Labra was rushed to Cebu Provincial Hospital-Carcar City, but he was declared dead on arrival. (KAL)
