A MAN was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding assailants in Barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City at 6:40 a.m. Saturday, December 15.

Chad Christian Noval, a resident of Barangay Alang-Alang, Mandaue City, was just smoking a cigarette on C.D. Street when two men onboard a motorcycle approached him and shot him.

The victim died on the spot.

Based on initial investigation conducted by Subangdaku Police Station, one of the assailants identified as the backrider shot Noval.

Police are still conducting further investigation to determine the motive of the incident. (FMD of Superbalita Cebu)
