MCIAA sets new protocols for int’l arriving passengers

Sunnexdesk

THE Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) requires all international passengers arriving at the airport to register to the online MCIA Passenger Arrival Registration Form at least two days prior to departure.

This will be effective starting Wednesday, July 15, 2020, as stated in its updated public advisory released Saturday, July 11.

The form is accessible through the link:https://mactancebuairport.com/covid-19-registration.

A Travel Registration Number (TRN) will be generated once registration is complete.

All passengers arriving before July 15 will have to follow the manual process of filling out the forms upon check-in at their port of origin.

As of today, all international commercial flights remain suspended at MCIA.

The arrival protocols in place are applicable to passengers arriving via international sweeper or repatriation flights, or rerouted flights from Manila due to quarantine processing limitations. (WBS with PR)
