Minglanilla replaces traffic lights

Sunnexdesk

THE local government unit (LGU) of Minglanilla in southern Cebu replaced its old and defective traffic lights on Sunday evening, January 29, 2023.

In a message posted on his Facebook page, Minglanilla Mayor Rajiv Enad said the new traffic lights were installed at the intersections of barangays Tungkop, Poblacion, Calajoan, and Tungkil.

He added they will also replace the traffic lights in other smaller intersections along Abono Road, Gaisano Mall, and in Barangay Pakigne.

Minglanilla is one of the places in Metro Cebu where traffic is heavy, especially during rush hour.

The municipality’s traffic command center is also eyeing setting up CCTV cameras in the traffic lights to catch erring drivers. (BBT, TPT)
