BEAUTIES are back.

The Miss Cebu pageant is back after five years!

In a 3 p.m. event on October 16, 2021 at Verified Lounge, the Cebu City Government—through Cebu City Tourism Commission, Cebu City Tourism Foundation Inc. and Miss Cebu Charities—introduced the 12 hopefuls vying for the crown in the 2022 edition of the prestigious pageant.

Next year’s installment will be historic as it is also the first Miss Cebu event since the pandemic was officially declared by the World Health Organization in March 2020.

The candidates are Bianca Wilhelmina Willemsen, Christine Isabelle Rudolph, Karla Marie Frances Niere, Dannika Anne Ocampo, Cianza Pearl Lorenzo Gutierres, Christine Marie Aberion, Sheena Durano, Ciairha Jenyne Monsanto, Gabriella Mai Carballo, Trixie Ong, Rhean Emmanuelle Caruana and Lorraine Hann.

Miss Cebu 2022 Coronation Night will be on January 12, 2022, 6 p.m., Wednesday, at Il Corso Filinvest Lifestyle Malls, South Road Properties, Cebu City. (LQ3)
