UP TO P1.5 million worth of suspected shabu was confiscated during a buy-bust in Barangay Tanke, Talisay City, southern Cebu, past 10 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022.

Operatives of Talisay City’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Jedy “Judy” Selitorio, 23, of Sitio Alaska, Barangay Mambaling in Cebu City.

Selitorio yielded 230 grams of alleged shabu with a street value of P1.5 million.

Lt. Col. Randy Caballes, chief of the Talisay City Police Station, said they monitored Selitorio’s illegal activities for two weeks prior to their operation.

According to Caballes, Selitorio could dispose of a kilo of shabu in a month.

Sourced from inmate

Selitorio claimed that a certain “Edcel,” who is allegedly an inmate at the Cebu City Jail, is his drug supplier.

He claimed Edcel would often send someone to deliver the illegal drugs to him.

The suspect will be facing charges in violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
