Police uproot 200 marijuana plants

ABOUT 200 fully grown marijuana plants were uprooted by members of the City Intelligence Unit of the Cebu City Police Office, Wednesday morning, May 19, 2021.

The marijuana plants in sitio Kamansili, Barangay Pangamihan in Toledo City are due for harvest.

The CIU headed by Police Lt. Col. Randy Caballes received information from a concerned citizen of the existence of the marijuana plants.

According to the initial investigation, the illegal plants were planted by a certain "Miguel".

The uprooted marijuana plants have an estimated value of P80,000. (AYB)
