Post-quake scenes in Cebu, Samar

Sunnexdesk

MEMORIES of the magnitude 7.2 earthquake that jolted Cebu on Oct. 15, 2013 are still vivid in most Cebuanos’ minds.

Although not as strong as the 2013 quake, the magnitude 6.5 tremor that hit Eastern Samar and was felt in Cebu on Tuesday, April 23, reminded many of the fear and panic six years ago. Many went out of their schools, and office and residential buildings to be safe. Classes were also suspended in some schools.

As of 6 p.m. on Tuesday, there were no reports of any injury or damage to properties.
