CLOSE to P15 million worth of drugs were seized from a couple and another person in an anti-drug operation in Barangay San Nicolas past 7 p.m. Tuesday nigh, September 18.

Police Chief Inspector Mercy Villaro, spokesperson of the Mandaue City Police Office, identifed the suspects as Adel and Jasmine Villafuerte and Ronelle Ylanan.

Recovered from the three were packs of shabu worth P14.7 million.

Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) Director Royina Garma said the operation was in coordination with the Jagobiao Police Office.

Adel had been listed as a high value target by Cebu City Police Office-Station 5.

Garma said they will trace where the suspects sourced their supply.

The bulk of seized "shabu" resurfaced doubts that there is a drug laboratory in Cebu.

But for Garma, she believes there is a big storage for illegal drugs. (KAL/With reports from Fe Marie Dumaboc)
