A 39-YEAR-OLD tricycle driver was shot dead in Sitio Calan, Barangay Poblacion, Cordova, Cebu Monday morning, July 22, 2019.

The Cordova police identified the victim as a certain Rico Amodia, a resident of Barangay Suba Basbas, Lapu-Lapu City.

Initial police investigation revealed that Amodia was just standing beside his motorcycle when two men onboard a motorcycle shot him using a caliber .45 pistol. The gunmen wore helmets and black jackets.

Amodia sustained a gunshot wound in the head.

Authorities have yet to identify the assailants, who fled after shooting the victim. (WBS)
