Truck damages posts

Sunnexdesk

TWO posts of the Visayan Electric Company (Veco) tilted after a truck tripped the wires along P. del Rosario St. in Barangay Day-as, Cebu City on Wednesday, March 20.

A portion of the road was closed to traffic after Veco dispatched its emergency team to repair the posts.

Veco spokesperson Quennie Bronce said both posts were made of concrete.

At 12:22 p.m., Veco cut off the power supply in the area while repair was underway.

The vehicles were rerouted to other roads to prevent heavy traffic in the area.

Police investigated the incident to determine the identity of the driver who fled. (From HBL of SuperBalita Cebu, KAL)
