A DELIVERY truck driver was shot dead by two unidentified men onboard a motorcycle in Sitio Abuno, Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City around 6 a.m. Friday, February 1.

Police identified the victim as Judy Lozano, 39, a resident of Sitio Kalubihan, Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City.

Lozano was reportedly driving his delivery truck when the assailants suddenly approached him and shot him several times, resulting in his death.

Although the police have yet to determine the motive of the attack, Lozano's relatives said the victim reportedly stabbed someone in 2018.

Lozano was eventually cleared after he was able to settle the matter. (GCM of Superbalita Cebu/JKV)
