Zero active case recorded in Liloan on Oct. 22

THE Municipality of Liloan announced that the town had no reported active Covid-19 cases as of Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, after one remaining case recovered from the disease.

In its Facebook post, the municipal government announced this good news to its constituents, telling them that they are part of achieving it by complying with government-imposed health protocols.

Liloan reported that a total of 12,674 cases in the town have completed their 14-day quarantine period without manifesting any symptoms.

However, the town also reported one suspected case that has manifested influenza-like symptoms such as fever, cough and sore throat.

The municipal government also identified 28 individuals it categorized as persons under monitoring (PUMs), but it clarified that these cases are not Covid-19 cases, saying PUMs are individuals who have undergone a swab test and are waiting for their results.

The local police with the help of civilian volunteers are strictly implementing the government-imposed protocols. (KFD)
