Tell It to SunStar: Police station’s violation

EVEN though much has been written about parking in undesignated areas, people continue to park on sidewalks, which, by the way, is illegal.

It’s hard not to notice the violators when driving along Osmeña Blvd.

The sidewalks on either side of the thoroughfare are the widest in the metro, which may explain drivers find these very attractive.

But what I don’t understand is why does the Abellana Police Station at the corner of R.R. Landon St. allow vehicles and motorcycles to park up front, forcing pedestrians, some of whom are students, on to the streets or to take turns passing?
