INTERNATIONAL Boxing Federation (IBF) super flyweight king Jerwin Ancajas is defending his belt in Mexico against Chilean Miguel Gonzalez on Dec. 8, 2019 (PHL time) at the Auditorio GNP Seguros in Puebla.

Ancajas was supposed to have his eighth title defense on Nov. 2, 2019 against challenger Jonathan Rodriguez as the main supporting bout for the Saul Alvarez vs. Sergey Kovalev fight.

Rodriguez, however, had problems with his US visa and the fight was canceled.

Ancajas’ last title defense was back in May 4, 2019, in which he stopped Ryoichi Funai.

The 30-year-old Gonzalez ranked No. 14 in the IBF. This is his first time fighting for a world title. (EKA)
